The removal company may engage another freight carrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The removal company shall perform its obligations under the sender's best interests with the usual care of a proper removal company in return for payment of the agreed fee. Additional fees shall be charged for special services and expenses that were not foreseeable at the time of contract conclusion. The same applies if the scope of services is expanded by the sender (customer) after contract conclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The move may also be carried out as a group transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tips cannot be offset against the removal company's invoice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The sender (customer) is obligated to ensure that any movable or electronic parts of highly sensitive equipment, such as washing machines, record players, televisions, radios, hi-fi equipment, and computer systems, are properly secured for transport. The removal company is not obligated to verify that the transport insurance is appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of services provided by additional tradesmen, the removal company is only liable for careful selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Set-off against claims of the removal company is only permitted with due counterclaims that are legally established or undisputed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the request of the authorized person, the removal company is obliged to assign to the authorized person the rights to which it is entitled under the insurance contract it has concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The removal company is not responsible for the risk of misunderstanding of order confirmations, instructions and notifications other than written ones sent by the sender to other persons of the removal company who are not authorized to accept them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When picking up the removal goods, the sender is obliged to check that no item or furnishing is taken or left behind by mistake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The invoice amount is due before unloading is completed for domestic transports, and before loading begins for international transports, and is payable in cash or equivalent means of payment. Cash expenses in foreign currency are to be paid according to the exchange rate. If the sender fails to meet their payment obligation, the removal company is entitled to detain the goods or, after the start of transport, to store them at the sender's expense. Section 419 applies accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the event of termination or withdrawal from the contract, the relevant provisions of Sections 415 HGB, 346 ff BGB shall apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the case of storage, the General Storage Conditions of the German Furniture Transport Association (ALB) apply. These will be made available upon request by the sender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For legal disputes with registered merchants arising from this contract and claims on other legal grounds related to the transport order, the court in whose district the branch of the removal company commissioned by the sender is located shall have exclusive jurisdiction. For legal disputes with other registered merchants, exclusive jurisdiction shall only apply if the sender relocates their place of residence or habitual abode abroad after the conclusion of the contract, or if their place of residence or personal abode is unknown at the time the action is filed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
